Configurator
Configure your air-quality WRF workstation
Step through d01–d06 and we'll assemble the complete workstation package as you go. Every configuration ships burn-in tested, with chassis, cooling, PSU and 12 months of support included.
Processor
Core count is what lets you run multiple WRF or CALMET months in parallel instead of queued one after another. This also sets your motherboard and RAM platform below, so start here.
Selected: Threadripper PRO 9985WX. 64 Zen 5 cores and 128 threads provide a strong balance of parallel WRF throughput and per-core speed. Uses the sTR5/WRX90 platform with eight-channel DDR5 ECC RDIMM memory and PCIe 5.0 expansion.
Motherboard
Filtered automatically to boards that match your chosen socket. Options for the other platform are greyed out.
Memory
Two capacity options matched automatically to the processor platform: DDR4 ECC UDIMM for Threadripper PRO 5000 and DDR5 ECC RDIMM for sTR5 processors. WRX80 UDIMM configurations are subject to the selected motherboard's qualified-vendor list.
Storage
Select the OS drive, WRF data array and WRF operating array independently.
Operating-system drive
WRF data drives
WRF operating drives
RAID 0 has no drive-failure protection. RAID 1 and RAID 10 add redundancy but are not backups; retain separate copies of project data and finished outputs.
Operating system
Fedora Linux with WRF and WPS compiled and configured is included. Add Windows 11 Pro as a dual-boot option when Windows-only modelling applications are also required.
Software and on-site services
Add the WRF-GUI licence, commissioning at your site, and hands-on training. Travel time and reasonable travel expenses are quoted separately once the site location and dates are known.
Three-day on-site training
Select installation and training together to deliver both back-to-back during one visit, sharing a single travel charge. WRF-GUI annual maintenance is optional from year two under an annual maintenance plan. Active maintenance includes installation and configuration of future WRF releases issued during the maintenance period. Maintenance terms are reviewed annually and may change over time, with advance notice. View full licence, installation, training and travel details →
