01 · Licence

WRF-GUI software

The perpetual licence is assigned to one WRF workstation and provides continued use of the licensed version without a recurring subscription.

Included in the first year

  • WRF-GUI installation and activation on the supplied workstation.
  • Updates released during the first 12 months.
  • Email support for installation, licensing and normal software operation.
  • Licence transfer to a replacement workstation, subject to deactivation of the previous installation.

From year two

Optional annual maintenance includes available updates, ongoing email support, and installation and configuration of future WRF releases issued during the maintenance period. Maintenance terms are reviewed periodically and may change to reflect inflation, development and support costs; clients will receive advance notice before renewal. A lapsed maintenance plan does not disable the perpetual licensed version already installed.

Licence scope: the fee covers the Air Quality Support WRF-GUI application. WRF, WPS, Fedora and other open-source components retain their respective third-party licences.
02 · Commissioning

On-site installation

Commissioning connects the delivered workstation to the client's working environment and confirms that the supplied air-quality WRF stack operates correctly at the site.

Included

  • Unpacking, placement and physical commissioning of the workstation.
  • Connection to client-provided power, display, peripherals and network.
  • Verification of storage arrays, operating systems and installed WRF software.
  • WRF-GUI activation and a supplied test workflow.
  • Basic handover covering startup, shutdown, storage layout and support contacts.

Client prerequisites

  • A suitable desk or equipment location, power outlets and network connection.
  • Required network, proxy, firewall and administrator approvals arranged before arrival.
  • Client IT staff available where domain, security or network changes are required.
  • Safe site access and any necessary inductions scheduled in advance.
The installation scope covers up to one eight-hour working day. Additional time caused by an expanded scope or unavailable client prerequisites is quoted before work continues.
03 · Training

Three-day practical course

The course is delivered on the client's workstation using practical exercises and sample datasets. The course is available as a fixed small-group engagement for up to four participants, providing hands-on time and direct assistance throughout the three days.

04 · Travel

Transparent travel charges

Travel is quoted after the site location, dates and access requirements are confirmed. This keeps local and remote projects equitable.

Indicative travel by region

These are typical ranges for planning purposes only; your formal quote will confirm the exact figure once dates and flights are locked in.

Other east coast capitals (Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide)Half day each way

Travel arrangements and estimated expenses are shown in the formal quote. Installation and training booked together share one travel charge when delivered back-to-back. International quotes remain denominated in AUD and show the exchange-rate basis used for AUD-equivalent travel costs.

Cancellation and rescheduling

Client-requested changes are handled through the formal quote. Non-refundable or committed flights, accommodation and other supplier charges are payable at cost. Rescheduling with at least 15 business days' notice normally transfers professional-service fees to the new dates; shorter notice may incur a rescheduling charge where the reserved dates cannot be reallocated.

05 · Boundaries

What is quoted separately

  • Client network redesign, domain administration or organisation-wide cybersecurity changes.
  • Custom WRF-GUI development, integrations or features outside the licensed product.
  • Creation or validation of a production air-quality WRF methodology for a specific regulatory assessment.
  • Large-scale migration of historical datasets.
  • Additional site days, specialist inductions, security clearances or after-hours work.
  • Third-party software licences and subscriptions not expressly listed in the quote.
  • Multi-workstation, fleet and multi-site WRF-GUI licensing, which is available under a tailored volume quotation.
